Background

NAIA was founded to train qualified, proficient and motivated aviation professionals, be they aspiring professional pilots or aspiring professional airframe and powerplant technicians.

Certifications and Memberships

The Professional Pilot Programs and individual flight certifications are FAA approved by Air Agency Certificate Number C18S0610.

The Aviation Maintenance Technology Program is FAA approved by Air Agency Certificate Number C18T061Q.

The Institute is licensed by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, 1333 Main Street, Suite 200, Columbia, South Carolina 29201, Telephone Number (803) 737-2260. Licensure indicates only that minimum standards have been met; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of quality.

The North American Institute of Aviation maintains an active membership in the Aviation Technical Education Council (ATEC), National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and South Carolina Aviation Association (SCAA).
