NAIA Staff

Dan Flaherty and Sharyn Clardy
NAIA employees feel that NAIA is a great place to work, learn and build a long term career. Many people have been with NAIA for over 20 years.

Sharyn Clardy, Flight Office Manager and Dan Flaherty, Director of Operations are prime examples of people who came here and stayed. Sharyn has been with NAIA for over 22 years, rising through the ranks to her current position. While Dan began his career as a student pilot at NAIA and stayed on to become an instructor, Chief Flight Instructor and now Director of operations. Along the way, he accumulated over 3000 flight hours.

James TroutmanChief Instructor
James Troutman
Jim is a 40 year career flight instructor. He has accumulated an amazing 25,000 hours, with 20,000 hours as a working flight instructor in airplanes and helicopters. He has also served as U.S. Army Helicopter Instrument Examiner, and as an FAA Aviation Safety Inspector.

Henry Williamson
Director of Maintenance
Henry Williamson

Henry has a very simple philosophy - " Before a pilot can fly them, I have to approve them!" Henry has been around airplanes just about all his life. He started with NAIA shortly after NAIA began operation and progressed steadily. His reputation locally has established NAIA as the center for maintenance for small aircraft in the area.
With over xx years of combined years of service at NAIA, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more experienced staff.
