Multi-engine Pilot Rating Program

Classroom
The Multi-Engine Rating allows you to get your chance to fly what most people consider a real airplane -more than one engine, high performance, fast and usually decked out for instrument flying, turbo-charged engines, auto-pilots, ice-protection, weather radar, GPS and more. This program is conducted under FAR Part 141 and runs concurrently with the Flight Instructor Course. This course consists of 15 hours of dual flight instruction, 12 hours of ground school and 6 hours of one-on-one ground instruction. An additional 2 flight hours are provided for the FAA Practical Examination. Completion of the Multi-engine Rating Program (including the Practical Examination) allows a Commercial Pilot to act as Pilot in Command for compensation or hire of a multi-engine aircraft.
